Who doesn't love good chocolate? We stopped in on our way back from Southern CA and I'm glad we did! I got a couple of scoops of ice cream and I was delighted! It was creamy and tasty! I loved every bite! We also bought a bunch of chocolates to give to friends and family because they offer a great deal if you buy a few. They also have the option to buy individual chocolates which is nice because you can try a few. They have some flavors that you can't find anywhere else. Staff was friendly and efficient even though they were busy. PARKING: They have a large parking lot. You won't have any issues finding a spot.

If you're in Lathrop or heading further up north, stop by here. I'm not sure if they offer tours as we only went in their cafe like area. Plenty of parking space and offer indoor and outdoor seating. Their walls are filled with prepackaged mix of chocolate bars, hot cocoa mix, mugs, collectible items, boxed chocolates and more. They also have their bag your own chocolate bars and their varieties are great. Service was decent with two employees working. We got their hot chocolate, brownie sundae, and banana split. They didn't have any bananas but offered a brownie as a substitute. It didn't take long for our desserts and drink to come out. The hot chocolate is the best I've ever had. It's so rich and decadent. They were also very generous with their ice cream servings. The brownie was so rich, I could only take one bite. It was slow but I heard it gets packed during the summer. There is a restroom inside as well.

My family and I love stopping here to stretch our legs and get a sugar fix while heading home whenever we're in the area! It's an outlet and an ice cream shop so we love loading up on mini chocolate squares and taking a hot fudge sundae to go. It's so good and we love sharing it on the drive home - it's always loaded with whipped cream and their addictive hot fudge. I'm a big fan of their dark chocolate squares so I also make sure to grab plenty to have at home. They have so many flavors to choose - from White Chocolate Sugar Cookie to Dark Chocolate Mint. The inside has tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream and there are tables outside as well plus a bar area that surrounds the ice cream area. They have a 1 stall bathroom and plenty of parking available. Staff is always friendly and they give out free samples usually too! Check them out next time you need a break from your long drive! Our favorite stop on the way home on I-5 in Lathrop . Yummy sundaes treats and great opportunity to load up on chocolate . They have Seasonal candies , baking supplies ( chocolate chips ) cocoa mix , hot chocolate mix and much more. Friendly service just like an ice cream shop. Small area with inside tables and outside seating when the weather is nice.

A GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE OUTLET AND ICE CREAM SHOP this close to the 5 Fwy?!?! YEEEEESSS!!!! Giant and FREE parking lot with tons of available parking spots so you don't have to circle around dozens of times just to find a spot. Opens at 11 AM but their fudge isn't ready that early. They still have their milkshakes, but you can't have fudge. The chocolate shop is great!! You can get your brownie mixes. You can pick and choose your chocolate squares and pay by the pound. Lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy your desserts.

Very nice spacious store with plenty of tables. Service is great. Cashier was friendly and the sundae came out super fast. The gold rush was yummy and was able to be shared with 3 people. Definitely a nice place to go to for a treat. They also have their chocolates for sale in singles or bags.

We love having Ghirardelli close by so that we don't have to go all the way to SF! Ice cream always tastes great and their fudge is my favorite fudge there is. Perfect place to come with our family of 5. Service is always fast and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. They have door dash too and it never arrives melted :)

Off the 5 fwy heading home , I had to make a detour to grab some chocolate for the kids . It's located in a factory warehouse section, indoor and outdoor seatings available. Serves hot cocoa , shakes , sundaes , dipped strawberries , brownies and many more packaged chocolate variety gifts bags , brownie mix box , hot chocolate mix to name a few . As for price comparison to the regular retailer , is the Ghirardelli outlet cheaper ? Honestly I don't know . It is a great stop to enjoy some sundaes and buy some souvenirs for my kids .

I've been to this location several times but just now getting around to writing a review. Their sundae's and sweet treats are always consistently good! It's a small shop with the option to buy bulk candy, some flavors you won't see at a grocery store. They have a big selection of sundae's and shakes to choose from. I do wish they would offer oat milk as an option for their coffee and shakes. Currently they only have almond milk as their non dairy alternative. The staff are always nice, and they can get quite busy on a hot day so be patient as it's usually 3 people working. They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your ice cream there.

What a cute little shop for ice cream!!! Every time I drive by here I've always wondered what was inside. Well I finally found out! Stopped by here on our way home! Best ice cream sundaes I've had!
